DATA is an acronym for Developing a Trade Afterschool. This organization is a non-profit established in December, 2009 under the corporation of LSE Enterprises, Inc.. Larry E. Roberts, Jr, Founder and CEO of LSE Enterprises, Inc., had the vision to use his existing barber schools to provide outlets and safe havens for many teens that had no or limited extracurricular activites, especially ones that would develop into a potentially lucrative career. The program also seeks to help those inmates recently released from jail successfully re-enter into society with a positive outlook while also getting the necessary job and professional training to begin a career upon their graduation, despite their criminal background.

The DATA Foundation, Inc.
seeks to engage two groups. One group will be at-risk youth, both male and female, between the ages of 16 and 25, in the Chicagoland area. However, a greater initiative will target teens ages 16 to 19. These individuals will most likely be juniors and seniors at high-risk Chicago Public Schools and/or from violence-stricken neighborhoods within the Chicagoland area and surrounding suburbs. Also, the other group will be inmates that are currently within the penal system of Cook County Jail soon to be released and those that have been recently released. Age will vary drastically in this group.
